Public Hearing on Artificial Intelligence in Vermont

Manchester, VT – The Artificial Intelligence Task Force will hold a public hearing:

October 10, 2019

4:45-7:00 PM

Dana L. Thompson Memorial Park, Park House Activity Room

340 Recreation Park Rd, Manchester Center, VT 05255

The task force was created by the Vermont Legislature to investigate the benefits and potential risks of artificial intelligence; make recommendations on the responsible growth of Vermont’s emerging technology markets, the use of artificial intelligence in State government, and any need for State regulation of the artificial intelligence field.

The public is encouraged to attend to share perspectives, concerns, hopes, and suggestions for how the task force should direct its work. Written testimony will also be accepted and may be emailed to Ryan.Flanagan@vermont.gov.

Additional public hearings may take place. Specific dates and locations TBA.
