Friends and neighbors,
It was so good to see so many of you at Town Meeting this week and to see new faces stepping up and lifelong volunteers celebrated.
I’m taking a few days to visit my daughter before the legislature reconvenes next week, and so I’m moving the regularly scheduled office hours for tomorrow, March 7th, to next Saturday March 14th. If there are urgent items that can’t wait until then please reach out via email.
This week I joined Vermont Public’s Vermont Edition to discuss the growing national push to build AI and cryptocurrency data centers. I’m sponsoring legislation to help Vermont plan ahead by ensuring we have clear rules for where and how these energy-intensive and high impact on water facilities could be built in our state.

As always, please reach out if you need help navigating state services or want to share what you’re seeing locally. I read and value your notes, even if I can’t always respond immediately. I do not have staff and I work year-round, so if you do not hear back in a day or two, please follow up or send a text. If you find my work useful and are able to support it, you can do that here.
Thank you for staying engaged and staying in touch!
